Over 2,500 media productions from 100 different countries have participated in the 10th edition of BCN Sports Film Festival. 85 films have been selected to join a very special line-up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the biggest sports media event in Barcelona.
BCN Sports Film 2019 lets us discover the most human stories —Pelé, Dembelé, Samantha Davies, Greta Andersen or Adam Ondra are some of the heroes of this edition. We will also be able to enjoy the new sports trends —how Olympic climbing and new skating formats are bursting onto the current sports scene.
Once more, Barcelona will be host to the best sport cinema. Documentaries, fiction and animated short films and unprecedented sports-related media productions will be present in the BCN Sports Film Festival venues.
Adolescence, gender and the migration crisis are the major focus of this edition. This is the reality told through the lens of a camera, which reflects a critical perspective of society and sport. Many of the film productions of this 10th edition of the BCN Sports Film Festival have a proven international track record. If you like cinema and sports, you can’t miss it.
