The BCN Sports Film Festival, among its 85 selected films, offers documentaries, fiction and animation where, in addition, we can find topics such as effort, self-improvement or fair play, combined with others such as sports culture in Japan and good and bad practices in contemporary sport, always with spectacular images that will not leave the audience indifferent.
In the afternoon, the different venues will offer different sessions for the projections of the films. Outdoor Sports and the environment will be the main theme at the Centre Cultural La Casa Elizalde, at the Institut Français de Barcelona the sports theme will be given in French, at the Filmoteca de Catalunya we will find the transforming power of sport in life of young people who live in conflictive territories and, finally, in the Centre Cívic el Sortidor we will be able to see the sport from a gender perspective.
In addition, the BCN Sports Film 2019 offers, exclusively, the projection of Crossing Beyond, official film of the Olympic Winter Games of Pyeongchang 2018, which will premiere on Thursday, June 6 at the Museu i Centre d’Estudis de l’Esport Dr. Melcior Colet de Barcelona.
Finally, we celebrate the incorporation of the Auditori 1899 – FC Barcelona as the new venue in this tenth edition, which will be responsible for the screening of a world premiere: Ousmane.
All sessions will have free admission.
