As every year, the BCN Sports Film Festival offers morning sessions dedicated to children and young people, so they can enjoy the best short films. These sessions, formed by a select sample of the program of the tenth edition of the festival, are held at the Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch and at the Cinemes Can Castellet in Sant Boi de Llobregat.
Among the films that will be screened on June 5, 6 and 7 we can find:
• Very sporty animals will delight the little ones with animations directed by Nicolas Deveaux and produced by Cube Creative Productions. In productions such as: 1 Mètre/Heure – 1 Meter/Hour, Athleticus – Barre Fixe / Athleticus – Horizontal Bar and Athleticus – Saut en hauteur – Athleticus – High Jump
• Short films that encourage reflection on self-improvement in sports and geographical realities as far away as Kyrgyzstan and Colombia with Buscando el green – Playing for the Green, All That Grow, Bakit i 3 Pies
• Films that raise awareness about current issues such as the situation of discrimination experienced by the children of immigrants in contemporary Europe (Il Mondiale in piazza), the practice of sports from the perspective of young people with other capacities (Inside I’m Racing and Le monde d’ailleurs / Elsewhere) or bullying (One of the boys).
Thanks to humor and the cinematographic qualities, the program of the BCN Sports Film 2019 school sessions will not leave the public indifferent.
