Book your ticket for the 12th edition of the BCN Sports Film Festival!

The 12th Edition BCN Sports Film Festival will be held from February 14 to 20, 2022 in person and virtually. Book your ticket for free!

Due to capacity restrictions, it will be necessary to reserve your free ticket to access the sessions, both in-person and virtual.

The session “And the winners are…” will be active from the Closing Ceremony until 11:59 p.m. on February 21.

The Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch will have 5 sessions linked to historical moments of sport and stories with their own name. Sessions that will deal with Miriam Blasco and the women’s field field hockey team; stories based on the personal experience of the athlete Zhang Deshun or Carla Suárez; or one of the greatest mountain tragedies experienced in the Pyrenees.

The Institut Français de Barcelona will have 1 session focused on French productions that will include a wide variety of genres based on short humorous films, historical reports and animations that will bring children closer to the values of sport.

The Centre Cívic Cotxeres de Sants will have a large number of short films distributed in 2 sessions. One session will focus on the adrenaline, challenges, freedom and risks involved in outdoor sports; and the other will show us the obstacles that the protagonists have to face to overcome prejudices, frustrated desires and social barriers due to gender stereotypes.

The Museu Melcior Colet cover 2 sessions with a program dedicated to cycling lovers; where they will be able to ride through the most natural landscapes and pay tribute to the editions of the Volta Ciclista de Catalunya. The second session will show educational values such as cooperation, solidarity and collaboration, bringing us closer to realities suffered by victims of war conflicts or raised in poor areas.

The Centre Cívic Bon Pastor will host 1 single session where sport will be a source of learning, humor and self-improvement with productions that will teach us beyond the rules of sport.

The Centre Cívic El Sortidor will have 2 sessions based on current issues and productions that will transmit educational values showing the challenges that young athletes have to face; a space free of stereotypes.

Finally, the Cinemes Girona will offer a program for film buffs. A variety of documentaries and short films of fiction, animation, experimental… that will be shown in 4 sessions. They will be a link between a large number of different sports and the emotions generated by these productions. Sessions to discover, share, know, reflect and experiment.
